 Bodiul Ivan Ivanovich [born. 21.12.1917 (3.1.1918), Aleksandrovka, the Nikolaev province], Soviet party and the statesman. A member of the CPSU from 1940. Was born in family of the peasant. Has ended the agricultural technical school from Voznesensk (1937), Military-veterinary academy (1942), the Highest party school at the Central Committee of the CPSU (1958). From 1942 on command posts in operating Soviet Army. In 1946-51 worked in Moldova: first in the Ministerial council of Moldavian SSR, then in representation of Council on affairs of collective farms at the government of the USSR. From 1951 on responsible party work. In 1958-59 - in the structure of Central Committee of the CPSU. In 1959-61 the second secretary, since May of 1961 the first secretary of Central Committee CP of Moldova. A member of the Central Committee of the CPSU from 1961. The deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 5-8 convocations. Decorated with Lenin's medal and other medals. |
