 Rusu Valentina Born 28 October 1920, Chisinau Education 1944-1948 - School of Arts in Chisinau 1948 - member of the Union of Plastic Artists from the USSR Exhibitions 1975 - Debut participation at a Soviet Union-wide exhibition of art in Moscow, exhibited the painting "The dance" 1961- Debut participation in an art exhibition abroad (Sofia) Awarded the "Citation of honor" 1963- Exhibition of Soviet art in Warsaw 1966- Awarded the VDNH silver medal 1968 - Exhibition of Soviet art in Monreal 1971 - Exhibition of Soviet art in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) 1974 - Laureate of the State Award of the Republic of Moldova 1975 - Exhibition of Soviet portrait in Bucharest 1975 - Exhibition of Soviet art in Syria and Iraq 1980- Awarded the title of Master Emeritus of Art; Awarded the Citation of Honor. 1985 - awarded the tile of Artist of the People from the Republic of Moldova 1996 - Awarded the Republican Citation. 1998 - Award for the entire activity and for the development of arts.
